Deleting an item from a collection removed the collection from My Library

When I deleted one item from a collection, it removed the collection from my library (see screenshot), though I am still shown as the only person who can edit it. It was definitely my I am sure that it was not user error as I still had the collection window open (see screenshot), but when I went to My Library, it was gone. 

I tried to reproduce the problem with the exact same files with a collection with a slightly different filename (see screencast), but was unable to.
