I presume this is not indended. It seems to append an incremented number to the end of the page name rather then replacing it.
See screenshot, i have created 5 pages all called test. The page names are in order as follows:
testgroup1pagestest
testgroup1pagestest-1
testgroup1pagestest-1-2
testgroup1pagestest-1-2-3
testgroup1pagestest-1-2-3-4

i would have expected to see:
testgroup1pagestest
testgroup1pagestest-1
testgroup1pagestest-2
testgroup1pagestest-3
testgroup1pagestest-4
